Santa Clara County’s Department of Family and Children’s Services
Busy Buzzy Bots is proud to partner with Santa Clara County’s Department of Family and Children’s Services. The Department of Family and Children's Services (DFCS) provides a wide range of services designed to protect children when a threat of abuse, neglect, exploitation or abandonment presents a danger to a child’s safety. The Department’s focus is to recognize the family’s abilities and to assist the family to build upon its strengths. DFCS social workers assist family members to find the kinds of help they need to safely care for their children in their neighborhood or community, such as peer support groups, counseling and parent education classes. Resource Family Approval Program (RFA)
Busy Buzzy Bots is proud to partner with Resource Family Approval Program (RFA). RFA is a new family-friendly and child-centered caregiver approval process that combines elements of the current foster parent licensing, relative approval, and approvals for adoption and guardianship processes and replaces those processes.
